Tim Harris Memorial Playground Project & Fundraiser

Jeremy Harris and Ashley (Harris) Ruleman were young when their father Corporal Tim Harris passed away. Tim, and his wife Brenda Harris, were part of the core group of families that helped plant Cornerstone Church of Augusta. Tim was loved by his family and friends, and especially by those he served alongside in law enforcement.
Tim was a man that poured endless hours into our community and strived to improve the lives of our youth. He gave of himself tirelessly to help others through his career as a PoliceDARE officer for the City of Waynesboro, volunteer at the Waynesboro Office on Youth, and with his church.
Jeremy and Ashley birthed a vision to honor their father by erecting a playground on the church property.
Jeremy and Ashley wrote, “Although his life ended tragically, we seek to honor him and his accomplishments with a playground. This playground represents the life he lived; providing a fun and secure environment for all. He has four beautiful grandchildren to this day that will greatly enjoy this playground with their friends and visitors at the church he once attended.”
You are invited to participate in their efforts to remember Tim Harris by making a difference in the life of the next generation.
A fundraising spaghetti luncheon is planned at Cornerstone immediately following the morning worship service on Sunday, February 26. All donations will go toward the playground project.
