Worship

Worship is very important to us at Cornerstone and not just something we do on Sunday morning. We teach that worship is a lifestyle and we should worship God in all that we do. "By Him then, let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips, confessing His name" (Hebrews 13:15, NKJV). We encourage everyone to experience God through worship daily and in our Life Groups, so when we come together on Sunday there is freedom to love on the Lord because we have been in an attitude of praise and worship throughout the week.

You can expect that a Sunday morning worship experience at Cornerstone will be a joyful blend of Contemporary Christian Music with hymns and some older praise & worship songs included. We have a praise band that includes guitars, keyboard and drums and the words to the songs are projected on a large screen making it easy to follow along. Much of what we play in our services can be heard on Christian radio, however we sing a few songs that have been written by members of Cornerstone.

If you have a musical gift and are feeling called to serve in this area then please share that interest with the Worship Ministry and we will set up an interview. Also, we are in the process of developing a youth worship team and we welcome teens to ask us about joining this area of ministry.
