Sunday Morning Celebration Service

Contemporary Service: The service is contemporary in the sense that we use a live worship band to lead us in praising and worshiping Jesus. We also utilize multi-media to enhance the sermons and the atmosphere of our services are uplifting and relaxed.

Children's Ministries: We provide specialized ministries for infants to 5th graders.

• Nursery - A nursery is available for mom's of newborns with a TV in the room that broadcasts the worship service live.
• Toddler Nursery - Children up to 2 years old are invited to enjoy the toddler nursery. They'll find an assortment of age appropriate toys and books and a team of nursery workers to supervise and play with them.
• Power Church - Classes are provided for 3, 4 and 5 year olds and led by a team of skilled and trained leaders.
• ROCK Church - This fast paced and action packed ministry is for kids age 6 to grade 5. Kids register upon entering the building and are picked up at the end of church.

Come As You Are: Many people want know, "How do I dress for church?" At Cornerstone, we want you to come as you are most comfortable. Some prefer formal dress (suits and ties) while others prefer a more casual dress (jeans). Both are acceptable.

Fun: We don't always think that "fun" and "church" should go together, but at Cornerstone we certainly try. We believe that church should be a fun place where people are free to laugh and enjoy the good life God has given us.

Friendliness: Of all places church should be a place where people are warm and friendly. When you enter you'll find smiling faces eager to welcome you.

Multi-purpose facility: When we built our facility in 2001 we did so with the intention of using it, not glorifying it. Our beautiful sanctuary also serves as a basketball and volleyball court and then in the winter it houses a Christian youth wrestling program. We hold concerts, dances and weddings. The building is used by civic and religious groups outside our congregation. We believe the facility is a gift from the Lord and to be used as a blessing to others.

Communion: We celebrate the life Jesus has done for us by observing communion the first Sunday of each month.

Baptism: The third Sunday of each month includes water baptism for those who have decided to follow Jesus.

Meet & Greet: Have you wanted to meet more people at church but just didn't have the chance? Well, during our "Meet & Greet" Sundays we provide a spot during the worship service for people to enjoy some light refreshments and make new acquaintances.

 

During the Week

Life Groups: We encourage everyone to get connected to a Life Group because it the best way in our church to develop authentic, caring relationships. Groups meet during the week for times of worship, sharing and encouraging one another.

Discipleship Classes: Many churches have a Sunday school program for discipleship but at Cornerstone we offer such classes during the week, usually on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Youth Ministry: Kids in 6th grade through 12th grade meet each Sunday evening from 4pm to 6:00pm.

Discipleship Training: A variety of courses are offered throughout the year to train and equip our members to live out their Christian commiment.

Sports Ministry: Ever heard of a church with a wrestling team? At Cornerstone the Young Warriors Wrestling Association is a folk style wrestling program for kids in Kindergarten through 8th grade. We also have softball teams for men and women that partcipate in a church summer league.
